The SIPEX system is a motorised system capable of tracking the product/water interface over a range of up to 5 metres using conductivity sensors and a telescopic lance. Product is extracted to the surface either by a pneumatic discharge pump mounted on the lance down the borehole, or by a surface mounted vacuum system.
The system has the following advantages:
SIPEX tracks the interface accurately in most product types and is especially useful for dense products which are similar in specific gravity to water. No skimmer pumps with density based tracking systems can match this technology;
Class leading tracking range of 5 metres, especially suitable for tidal areas;
No turbulence and emulsification
Explosion proof in all variants
Chemical resistant materials
Although shown in a surface mounted tripod arrangement, this system can also be mounted within a well chamber.
