Geostream UK brings patented thermal remediation technology to the UK.
Founded in 1991, McMillan-McGee is one of the world’s leading thermal remediation specialists, having completed over 120 complex remediation projects globally.
Through the partnership, Geostream UK and its sister company, McAuliffe, have exclusive distribution rights to McMillan-McGee’s Electro-Thermal Dynamic Stripping Process (ET-DSP™) technology. ET-DSP™ speeds up remediation through convective heat transfer, which involves the controlled injection of water into the ends of electrodes, where the electrical field has the highest density.
Geostream UK’s European remediation partner, Geostream Group, is already using the technology successfully on complex thermal remediation projects in Italy and Sweden.
John McAuliffe, group managing director at McAuliffe Group and Geostream UK, said: “As well as providing the best thermal remediation equipment available, McMillan-McGee shares our commitment to investing in the research and development of remediation technologies. “Through this agreement, we’ve made our in-house remediation service even stronger, and can offer clients a complete range of chemical and biological, process, physical and thermal technologies.”
Brent Winder, Vice President at McMillan-McGee, added: “We are incredibly excited to be working with McAuliffe Group and Geostream UK to bring the world’s best remediation technologies to the UK.”
